Autumn Shoes 2013

From Manhattan's streets and stores, I am giving you a few ideas on the type of shoes that are comfortable and yet "warm" enough for the typical transitional weather of Spring and Autumn.

Usually after a long winter, I am so eager to remove my boots, and to start wearing sandals. It is quite impossible for me to make the transition without suffering the cold rushes of this unpredictable weather. So usually I opt to wear All Stars for casual wear.

This printed sneakers are a wonderful option for day wear, and to add a little bit of "happy, pretty and young" to the look.

Nautical shoes, are a classic. Not my favorite though, but they do come in handy for this type of transitional weather.

Ballet flats are one of the most comfortable shoes to wear, I own a couple of pairs in animal print, and I absolutely wear them with anything and everything. The only problem I find, is that sometimes it is not really flattering to the overall look, to be so "flat".

One of my favorites for Autumn/Winter. The wedged sneakers, in black, beige or grey. They help to mantain the comfort of a sports shoe but with the added advantage of height.
