The Perfect Wedding Dress

Is the one that is perfect for YOU!

so this is the story....
I know this girl from the University, she is from Brazil, her family has tons of money, and she is getting married.

She asked me to help her choose the dress for her dream wedding!
With a budget of 300,000 US dollar (overall) I guess we can really work...Let's say we will use 5% of the budget, and that is little, to purchase her dress, well I end up with about 15 thousand dollars...just for her dress...
She will have a formal wedding, at church and then a reception in some chateau, undecided yet.
She comes from a traditional, ultra catholic family, but being also Brazilian her dress style has to be a combination of traditional, classic, contemporary and sexy.
  • Traditional - because of her family upbringing, the importance given to religious rituals and social obligations/standards/pressures.
  • Classic - because as a Bride she would always want to look TIMELESS. She wouldn't want to be that woman that in ten or let alone five years from now, looks at her wedding pictures and wonders, Why did I do that?!?
  • Contemporary - what? Wouldn't that be contradicting the "classic"? Well, I didn't say "trendy" I said contemporary, she would want a touch of fashion, of newness, specially of you are young and a student @ FIT! She is only 24 years old by the way, which makes me wonder if she is not too young to be getting married. But well, she asked for advice on dresses, not on relationships!
  • Sexy - because she is a Latin woman, she has a beautiful slim body with just enough curves at just the right places. She can really make a sexy wedding gown work for her and still look elegant.

So on this quest for the perfect traditional, classic and sexy wedding dress I went, and this is what I found...
By the way.. I am absolutely fascinated by this Israeli designer called Inbal Dror, this a link to their website if you want to check it out later inbaldror.co.il/ Only problem is they are based out of Israel, and don't have a store in New York City, yet. I have read that there is one shop called "Panache Bridal" where you can find the gowns, that is in Beverly Hills though..., so it might be worth looking into that. I have realized tons of girls have fallen in love with this dresses, so if you can't afford to go and get it from Israel, or if it is not convenient to do an online order (I wouldn't recommend buying a wedding gown before trying it on, and making necessary adjustments, at least once!) you can always get ideas, and then find a very very good seamstress and get it custom made, wherever in the world you are!
Below I have selected the Best Wedding Gowns from the latest collection, Hope you enjoy the ideas, and maybe who knows they help you also choose yours!
